Well.. The name says it all- KL life. A non-exciting, stressful, busy-life that non student of the right mind would want. Then again, if it wasn't for the outstanding colleges or university-colleges located here, I wouldn't even want to bother about this place.
It's not like this place is totally bad. But it sucks when you have to set out at least an hour for transportation alone, in a one-way direction only. Not to mention the busy roads that one can less drive on without being caught in a jam at certain (or most) hours of the day. True enough, I've been through these stuffs and I can't help but be quiet about it. After all, I'm the one who chose to study here in Taylor's College Sri Hartamas. Still..
Okay. Enough of the complaining. I came to study in Taylor's mainly because I wanna start a new life. The college is great, the teachers too, yet after one year I'm still trying to get used to the community, not to mention the lack of dialect proficiency which is 'cantonese' here. I'd prefer 'hokkien' so much more. I'm lucky I have friends who are able to speak 'hokkien' with me. ^^ Though not many, but I'm grateful. I'm able to express myself much more that way.
Listening to the song - 'Keep Holding On' makes so much sense now.. It actually complies to my life in KL, makes me push on. Come to think of it, if it weren't for my brother, and the exceptionally tough syllabuses, and my brother. Life in KL wouldn't be half as bad. I'd blame my brother more though. I've reminded myself of how he sent me to rushed all the way back from College to Home to collect his forgotten documents for our College's ECA drive. Not once, but twice. Great brother huh, I don't think so. But I keep him because he's my chaffeur. That is a privilege a brother could have at least.
That is all for this time I guess. Will be posting the fun times my brother and I had when my friends from Penang came over to KL on 21st July. It was awesome while it lasted and I bet my friends enjoyed it as much as I do. Oh well.. Look forward to the next post, where pictures will be included.
