Friends' Visit to KL - Day Two

Its finally day two of my friends' visit. It was a good start to begin with. Showing my friends around KL, and vice versa, are really fun. I've accomplished Day One pretty well I supposed. Bringing them to 1 Utama to spend the day was a good idea. So for Day Two, we planned to go further.

It was pretty much what I just mentioned. For our Day Two trip Panda did not tag along. Mainly because he has to go back that day which is actually a pity. So yeah, we didn't met him after Day One. Our plan was to bring Jason and Eric along to Ikea (because Jason has to run an errand for his sister), and after that Times Square (yeshhh!!!). I'd like to go Times Square once again, it was terrific.

So to start of with the day, our rendezvous point will be my college - TCSH. Soon after they reached, we took them for a tour of our "humble" college and the mall beside it, also not to mention the crazy sights they see in our college. Who of the right mind would hang from an escalator going upwards. Perhaps a kid will do, but that's out of the point. Anyways after the tour we left for Ikea, just in time.

  • [picture: the drive to Ikea, Jason is always taking pictures of people who aren't noticing. Bad boy!!]
  • [picture: no, this picture isn't in the wrong place. We're there, but we're just not there. xDD]
  • [picture: haha, we're finally here. Ikea here we are~!!]
  • [picture: tada~~ Welcome to Ikea. Your place of home furnishings]
  • [picture: parking ticket to Ikea. Ikano and Ikea are joint buildings, so they're basically using the same parking ticket.]
So here we are, arrived at Ikea with errands to run. But like any other food lovers that shares the same interest, we would never miss out on Ikea's famous meatballs. And a good thing we arrived in the afternoon too right after lunch time. Which means less queue, less people, MORE MEATBALLS!!
  • [picture: queuing up for meatballs. The meatballs were delicious^^]
  • [picture: panda would surely get soo jealous if he sees this. I should let him know.]
  • [picture: uhm yeah.. To feed four people with this amount isn't enough I know. But we weren't very hungry back then. So its sufficient.]
Okay. So from here on the fun starts. Who would've thought that running errands can be interesting too. Apart from searching for the items itself we went about playing with stuffs lying for display around Ikea. The following pictures says it all. Oh how I love hanging out with friends.
  • [picture: Matt and Eric sitting on a seat. P-L-A-Y like a kid]
  • [picture: cheers to me and you. Let's drink some empty wine glasses]
  • [picture: ever seen Matthew THAT serious?! I sure never do.]
  • [picture: Pillow fight. Oh it was awesome.]
It took awhile just searching Ikea alone for the stuffs Jason needed. Ikea is such a huge place. But it was funny. Exclude the times where we had to search and re-search the place to make sure we don't miss out on anything. But out of the three things that Jason needed we only found one, which is quite sad.

Okay, we're done with the first part of the day. Running errands on Ikea is time consuming, I'll have to take note of that. The next time I will probably dedicate a day itself for Ikea so that the time won't clash. So anyways, after Ikea, we're on our way to Times Square - The most exciting part of all. Too bad I don't have many photos of our time there. Forgetful me kept on forgetting to take pictures. ==" Matt drove us all the way from Ikea to Kelana Jaya LRT station. From there we took the LRT to KL Central. We also took the monorail from KL Central, but to Medan Tuanku first in order for Eric and Jason to keep their stuffs in the hotel room of Tunes Hotel, thus lessening the burden on our body. Then of course we take the monorail again to Imbi, where we arrived at Times Square.

  • [picture: at Cosmo's world in times square. Colourful isn't it?]
  • [picture: ahh the all so torturing Ooort's express thingy on far right..]
  • [picture: notice the loop? that's why i love thr roller coaster]
  • [picture: out entry wrist bands^^ If i remembered the price correctly its roughly RM103 altogether]
  • [picture: Ehehehh.. the roller coaster is here^^!!]

It was definitely an awesome day. Altogether we went on the roller coaster 3 times and once on the Space attack. Then there's also one ride on Ooort's Express, which I'm never gonna ride again. Overall, the rides were awesome, but we felt awfully nauseatic because of the Ooort's Express. I almost vomitted.
Too much spinning makes my organs go wild.
  • [picture: Supersonic Odyssey Ride, it was truly awesome but too short a ride]
  • [picture: Space attack ride, Major thriller]
It was exhilirating. With amazing thrill rides, I really love the place. Might even consider bringing my family here next time to let them experience the fun. But only once in awhile. For Cosmo World is really expensive.

We played til' night time around 9.30pm++, pretty late in my opinion. Thus, we took the monorail, headed for Bukit Nanas, and there was when we parted ways with Me and Matt heading back to Kelana Jaya Station whereas Eric and Jason heading back to their hotel. That's also the part Matt almost missed the ride back because he left his belt with Jason.. O.o..
  • [picture: back at the monorail station, Eric is nowhere to be seen.]
  • [picture: the walk towards the monorail station. Notice how Matt and Eric look so dramatic with the station lights.]
Next up would be Day three^^. I'm looking forward to post it soon..=]
