Friends' Visit to KL - Day One

I can't wait to actually post this post. Problem is I don't have as many photos to share as my friends do. So this will have to suffice for now..

Anyways, it started on the 20th of July 2010. I received a phone call all of a sudden with Jason (i-Style) on the line saying he would be coming over to KL with Eric and Wei Chuen (Panda) tagging along on the next day. I was definitely excited at that time. Sudden good news are hard to take in all at once you know.

So the next day arrived, 21st July 2010, and our plan was to meet at 1 Utama right after my class ended at 2.30pm. Leaving for 1 Utama from TCSH will take around half an hour's drive or not more despite the frequent traffic jams there. Right after class my brother and I bounced into our Kembara and left for 1 Utama.

Well.. Apparently my friends haven't arrived there yet after my brother and I did. We have no choice but just to wait - and alot of waiting we did. Can't blame anyone except the traffic outside 1 Utama. Like I said, the traffic there is horrible.

So they finally arrived and met us in front of the TGV cinema. It was definitely breath-taking to meet friends you know well again after a long period of time of missing each other. I find myself hard to believe how overjoyed I am, except for the fact that Matthew was being sulky due to waiting, but that's out of the point.

So we went for "lunch" at Carl's Junior. Not exactly what a normal lunch would be, since it was really, really late lunch. Or rather I should call it 'linner'~? Anyways, I find it amusing to see my friends shocked faces when they collected their burgers upon ordering. Who could imagine I was like them too the first time I saw the burger. Just the size alone can put me through burgers for at least a month. Like seriously~!! o.O
  • [picture : I only have the picture of the leftover fries. No burger though, which is a bummer. I would really love to see the picture of the burger posted..==" Note that I have the largest drinking cup among the rest, whereas Jason has the largest burger, which can't be seen here, since it was already non-existent when this photo was taken.]

Anyways, after 'linner', we went bowling. Haha, you can say that I was the worst among us four. It started out good, like really good (I scored a strike on my first bowl), and my result downgraded. Non-the-less of course we had fun, I was just forced to pay for everyones' drink because I lost. I don't really mind though, I suck at bowling, big time.
  • [picture: the bowling in 1 Utama's U-bowl. My scores were so bad, even a baby can play better than I do. Lolx.]
Due to the lack of time, since the bowling itself takes up quite some amount of time, we don't have many choices to do at 1 Utama whilst making sure we're in time to send Jason, Eric and Panda off back to their hotel downtown. Which basically means NO MOVIES. (Take Note Matthew~!!) Anyways we did some karaoke-ing. Which isn't that much of a pleasure for the K-box in 1 Utama sucks really bad. Talk about lack of proper soundproof rooms and seating area, they had none of those. And I should also complain about their price system and lack of updated songs. How much worse can it be? I'll make sure to love red-box even more so when I return to Penang. While Jason, Matt and I were singing, Eric and Panda went to play pool. Haha, another game that I'm not good at. Lol..

So that day ended as such. Not many things done which I felt sorry for since Panda will have to leave the next day where the real fun actually begins. Matt and I later drop them at the Kelana Jaya LRT station. As planned, we'll be meeting again the next day for some real, exhausting fun. O.O"
