Haha. Just as the title suggests - 'Countdown to Trials'. Its pretty obvious that I'm having my trial exams really soon. Trials is in exactly 6 days from now. Less than a week. O.O" That is sure bad news. But what can I do?
So I've started studying. I wouldn't wanna mess up my exams like what I did to my AS exams. Currently doing loads of past years, daily assignments as revisions, as well as workshop sheets. Hopefully these are able to raise my grades up. Otherwise I would have to resort to other forms of revision that I may find comfortable with. Which is going to be a major bummer.. I don't wanna stare at a book all day.. =="
Thus, I've came up with a study schedule until the commencement of trials. I'll be describing it below.
I've finished revising for Biology. Though I'm not very sure how will my results be when I'm doing my trials. Biology is not a tough subject per se, but then again it depends on how an answer is structured in order to obtain appropriate marks. Gee, I hate CIE people. They made life tough for us students.
Then there's also subjects that I'm not done with. Currently the other subjects apart from Biology. Namely Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics. Among these 3 subjects, I've put most of my confidence in physics. I'm not too shabby when it comes to physics, and I'm sure I will do well just like I did back in SPM. Physics would not be the subject that pulls me down. I'll set about 2 days of revision for physics.
As for Maths and Chemistry. My two most weakest subjects. I need time for these 2 subjects. I wouldn't say they're just hard. In fact, they are... VERY HARD!! Omg, I can't believe I actually took 4 major subjects when I knew I couldn't cope with it. God grant me mercy, pleasseeeee!! Anyways, the current plan is to set aside 2 days as well for both chemistry and maths. I pray that 2 days are enough to study chemistry and maths respectively. If possible, I might cut short the time spent for studying physics. Probably enough to cover up important chapters in physics. Especially the theory part.
So this is my rough schedule of study. I cannot afford to fail anymore. Fail once is a mistake; Fail twice means you're stupid. I'm not stupid so I can't fail. DO THE MATHS :D. My main worry is for maths and chemistry. Since these two subjects are my most vulnerable ones. Pure maths section in maths is a killer, whereas I've gotta work on the Mechanics section. As for chemistry.. Uhm.. Let's just say I have to study everything. YES! EVERYTHING!! I'm serious!! I can't do chemistry for sh**!! It just doesn't make sense all except applications excluding NMR spectroscopy which kills 2/3 of my brain cells just by the name itself. Funny? I don't think so.
So yeah. Basic breakdown of my studies before the Trials commences. I mustn't forget to pray as well so that I may have peace of mind with no distractions whilst doing exam preparation. Now that everyone had entered exam mode, I should get my butt moving as well. Oh well.. There goes the fun days.. At least I'll feel much better if i perform well for my trials which then leads to the actual A2 Exams. :p
good, people who know how to plan and descipline and work things out are sucessful people.
ReplyDeletepraying for you and I hv the confidence that you can make it.
